What I do

I provide a confidential, neutral, non-judgemental space for you to think through your next steps, and what might be getting in the way or holding you back from your professional goals.

You might be interested in working with a coach if you are thinking:

  • I have a good idea of what needs to happen and I’m not moving forward
  • Am I ready for this change?
  • This is taking longer than I thought!
  • Does this really have to be this hard

As a certified executive coach and change management practitioner, I support leaders at all organizational levels to champion and proactively manage change – in their organizations and their lives!

I support

Senior leaders – sponsoring a project or change initiative in their organization in a way that encourages sustainability, resiliency and accountability

Middle managers and front line leaders – balancing operational demands with rolling out changes to their frontline staff

Project managers – navigating organizational politics, communicating with executive teams and project sponsors, managing a healthy project team and stakeholder resistance

New and emerging leaders – growing their careers

Farm business owners – current owners transitioning out of the business and new owners transitioning in

New farm business managers – defining their leadership style and navigating business ownership

I offer

  • Coaching
  • Consulting and advising
  • Coaching and mentoring

What is coaching?

Coaching is a powerful tool for getting clarity, focus, and new perspectives. The process can help you think more deeply about an issue that you can on your own, aid with decision-making and help you stay on track professionally and personally.

As a coach, I am your thinking partner. I create a safe and confidential space free of judgement. Senior leaders and business owners often cite one of main benefits of working with a coach is to have a confidential, neutral thinking partner to discuss challenges and work through decisions.

I will be your accountability partner and ask the tough questions to ensure you are working on the right things (as defined by where you want to be).

Coaching helps us gain insights, reinforce learning, develop new ways of thinking (rewire our brain and auto-pilot responses!), improve how we relate to ourselves and others, improve performance….and ultimately we are happier and healthier!

Why work with Jodi?

You know yourself and the situation best. My job is to guide the process to increase your personal awareness, bring new ways of seeing things, help you move through conflict, roadblock or challenges, and co-create unique and specific actions for you and your situation. We celebrate your progress and help you keep momentum!

Jodi’s clients describe her as a genuine, down to earth, insightful thinking partner who creates a space where they feel safe exploring their ideas, challenges and doubts, to then build and follow through on their plans of action.

She listens – the tough becomes easy.

About

I am a certified executive coach and change management practitioner. My speciality is supporting people in transition. As a coach I work as your thinking partner and help cultivate your learning and development – whether you are a leader formally driving change, or as someone growing into a new role or phase of your life.

My intention is to walk your change journey with you. To be your champion of growth and wise counsel on change.

My role as a coach is to help you get to where you want to be…and, truthfully, work with you on all the messy bits in between!

I am an Alberta born-and-raised farm girl, trained in executive coaching (which means I work with both individual and organizational goals) and change management. I want to bring what I’ve learned and experienced to help you move yourself and your organization to where you want to be.

I am in a unique position to provide a space and process for your important conversations about transitioning your business.

About those formal qualifications...

I have 15 years of experience working in the public sector in project management, grant management, program communications, workforce development and organizational change management.

I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University (one of the best coaching programs in North America). In addition to being an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF),  I am certified in change management through PROSCI and APMG International. I have a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation.

As an ICF certified coach and CPHR, I follow the ethics and confidentiality guidelines of both professions.
